Position Overview

The Elementary General Education Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction aligned to state standards, fostering a safe and structured classroom environment, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure student success.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction

• Create and maintain a structured, respectful classroom environment

• Establish clear expectations and consistent routines

• Use data to inform instructional decisions

• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs

• Collaborate with grade-level teams, special education staff, and support personnel

• Maintain consistent communication with families

• Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development

Qualifications

• Valid state teaching certification in Elementary Education

• Strong classroom management skills

• Commitment to student growth and academic excellence

• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families

• Effective communication and organizational skills
